Jielde Augustin Pendant Medium A240 and A360 by Jielde Lighting is a series of suspension lights available in four sizes. The Augustin Pendant Lamp is a classic french industrial design. The Medium and Large Augustin like all of the models have ceramic sockets. With the large selection of colors the lights fits many applications.
Jielde Augustin Pendant lamp are manufactured in Lyon France by Jielde made from turned steel the same old technique and they all are numbered in order to remain single and unique.
The Jielde Augustin comes in 18 different lacquered RAL colors. The interior diffuser shades comes in Silver or Gold with matching cord color. The Augustin Pendant lamps are designed by Jean-Louis Domecq, 1953.

About Jielde: |

Jieldé was startd by Jean-Louis Domecq. Searching for a suitable lamp fixture for his general mechnaics activities he decided to construct his own lamp. It took two yeras of trial and error to final settle in April of 1950 on the final specifications that was simple, robust, and articulated in order to adapt to all working senarios.
In 1953 the company was founded and marketed as his initials Ji eL De. In the 1990's the family of lamps expanded to include the Loft, Signal and Augustin series. The Jielde lamps are an icon of French industrial art and still hand made in Lyon. |
