Details:
Letizia from Lumina is the idea of a large size floor lamp but having the look of a pendant lamp. The idea is based on a very thin metal stem sustaining a large curved opal white glass cup which generates a soft, warm and relaxing light thanks to its wide surface. A series of small steel cables stabilizes the structures as the stays in a sailing boat and create a pleasant line pattern. The cup is held by a conic metal band that completely eliminates the problem of direct light. Letizia by Lumina is designed by Gianfranco Frattini

| Lumina started with a design idea from Tommaso Cimini, who in 1973 designed the first Daphine table lamp which was presented in the same year at the Fiera Campionaria in Milan. Based on the success and responds for the fixture, Lumina was later founded in 1975. To this date Lumina makes light fixtures with quality craftsmanship and a design philosophy where less is more. The Lumina collection includes classics like Daphine, Matrix, Galileo, Liz, Lizzy, Multi, Naomi, Zed, Opus, Tangram and Zelig. |
