Artemide | Tolomeo Micro Table Lamp - Ruby Red Collection
MODEL OPTIONS:
The table lamp Tolomeo Micro by Artemide introduces a compact interpretation of a renowned 1987 design. Its reduced-scale aluminum structure, articulated arm, and adjustable head maintain the original’s timeless aesthetic and flexibility, now presented in a smaller format suited to contemporary interiors.
Refined engineering defines the movement and orientation of the table lamp Tolomeo Micro, allowing precise adjustment of light direction. The combination of a slender frame and vibrant color options, including the distinctive Ruby Red Collection edition, suggests a versatile presence on desks, side tables, or reading nooks. The interplay between the lamp’s metallic finish and playful hues enhances its adaptability, making it suitable for both professional and domestic environments where space is at a premium.
With its compact proportions, the table lamp Tolomeo Micro can accompany a variety of settings, offering both character and practical illumination. The articulated arm and orientable head support focused lighting, while the lamp’s measured scale ensures it remains unobtrusive. This balance of form and function positions it as a discreet yet expressive element within any curated workspace or living area.
Founded in Milan in 1959, Artemide is the definitive Italian lighting brand — the company behind some of the most iconic lamps ever made. The Tizio (Richard Sapper, 1972) conducts electricity through its counterbalanced arm, eliminating visible cables entirely. The Tolomeo (Michele De Lucchi, 1987) adjusts to any angle with one hand and never dates. The Nesso mushroom, the mouth-blown Gople, the modular Alphabet of Light by BIG — each one a permanent reference point in contemporary design, several in MoMA's permanent collection.
Artemide calls its philosophy "The Human Light" — the idea that a lamp should respond to the person using it, not the other way around. Every piece is engineered to be adjusted, repositioned, and lived with for decades. LED technology is integrated without compromise: the brand has won five Red Dot Awards, two Interior Design Best of Year Awards, and the iF Product Design Award for a collaboration with Mercedes-Benz.
As an authorised Artemide retailer, Modernnest carries the full collection — table, floor, wall, pendant and outdoor — with free shipping on most orders.
