Le Corbusier — Architect & Lighting Designer, Licensed to Nemo
Le Corbusier (1887-1965) was one of the most influential architects of the twentieth century. His lighting designs — created for the Unité d'Habitation in Marseille and other architectural projects — are now exclusively produced under licence by Nemo. The Applique à Volet Pivotant uses a rotating metal flap to direct light. The Applique de Marseille projects light up and down. The Borne Béton is a concrete and glass fixture designed for the exterior of the Unité. Each piece is an architectural element as much as a lamp.

Nemo is the only company licensed to produce Le Corbusier's lighting designs. Each fixture is an exact reproduction of the originals — the same materials, dimensions and specifications Le Corbusier intended. These are among the most sought-after architectural lamps in the world.
