Luminator Floor Lamp from FontanaArte is a large floor light that provides indirect halogen light. the Luminator is one of the oldest classic designs from FontanArte. The stem is nickel plated in brass. Fixtures comes with a dimmer. Designed by Pietro Chiesa 1933
Fontana Arte was founded in 1932 by the architect Gio Ponti. In the early years Fontana Arte was knows for its advanced glass making and stained glass applications. Gio Ponti designed the first glass lighting and interior applications in collaboration with Pietro Chiesa. Today the Fontana Arte collection includes design by Max Ingrand, David Chipperfield, Vico Magistretti, Franco Raggi. Foster & Parnters, Charles Williams. The Fontana Arte Lighting collection includes such classics like Falena, Flute, A Max, Duplex, Sillaba, Fontana, Lampara, and 2198TA.
