THEA is a family of lamps that covers all types of applications, designed for use both in the domestic environment of the home and in the more public and contract spaces of the hotel, restaurant and work sectors. Thea Floor lamp by Fontana Arte is designed by Gabriele e Oscar Buratti.
Fontana Arte was founded in 1932 by the architect Gio Ponti. In the early years Fontana Arte was knows for its advanced glass making and stained glass applications. Gio Ponti designed the first glass lighting and interior applications in collaboration with Pietro Chiesa. Today the Fontana Arte collection includes design by Max Ingrand, David Chipperfield, Vico Magistretti, Franco Raggi. Foster & Parnters, Charles Williams. The Fontana Arte Lighting collection includes such classics like Falena, Flute, A Max, Duplex, Sillaba, Fontana, Lampara, and 2198TA.
