MODEL OPTIONS:
Jielde Lak Table lamp 6440 is the latest modern version designed by Jean-Louis Domecq in the 60's. In his lifetime Jean-Louis Domecq has designed 4 different lamps models for machine tools and workshops. Towards the end of the 60's, he designed the LAK lamp to put it on the desks. The LAK series adapted the technical Jielde lamp specifications with full flexibility and rotating heads. The main design difference in the LAK collection is the cut sections and hexagonal arms. This lamp was in production between 1970 and 1990. Today, Jieldé started to remake these more modernized design but retaining the expertise of another time. The LAK table lamp series is available in 18 different colors including a brushed and chrome version. The LAK6440 table lamp is designed by Jean-Louis Domecq
Jieldé Lamps was startd by Jean-Louis Domecq. Searching for a suitable lamp fixture for his general mechnaics activities he decided to construct his own lamp. It took two yeras of trial and error to final settle in April of 1950 on the final specifications that was simple, robust, and articulated in order to adapt to all working senarios. In 1953 the Jielde company was founded and marketed as his initials Ji eL De. In the 1990's the family of lamps expanded to include the Loft, Signal and Augustin series. The Jielde lamps are an icon of French industrial art and still hand made in Lyon. Jielde lights are now the perfect modern light for any home or office.
