Jielde | Loft D4401 Wall Lamp
MODEL OPTIONS:
The D4401 Loft by Jielde lamp is a classic two arm adjustable wall lamp with a 6" diameter Loft diffuser head. The classic Jieldé Loft industrial design provides two short arms of each 15.6" inches which can twist and turn at the joints, a robust and articulated design that just adapt to any working environment. The Jielde Loft D4401 wall sonce lamps are manufactured in Lyon France made from pressed steel the same old technique and they all are numbered in order to remain single and unique. An on and off switch is located at the base joint.The D4401 Loft Wall models is available in 18 different finishes including an all brushed and chrome plated model. The Loft wall lamp is designed by Jean-Louis Domecq, 1953.

Jieldé Lamps was started by Jean-Louis Domecq. Searching for a suitable lamp fixture for his general mechnaics activities he decided to construct his own lamp. It took two yeras of trial and error to final settle in April of 1950 on the final specifications that was simple, robust, and articulated in order to adapt to all working senarios.
In 1953 the Jielde company was founded and marketed as his initials Jielde. In the 1990's the family of lamps expanded to include the Loft, Signal and Augustin series. The Jielde lamps are an icon of French industrial art and still hand made in Lyon. Jielde lights are now the perfect modern light for any home or office.
