The Petale suspension lamp is light as a suspended petal, white as the subdued lighting and with a softness that enhances it.The Petale is a suspension lamp with an organic form which conceals the magic of silence within: the body consists of a sound-absorbent panel upholstered in white fabric. The Petale suspension lamp is designed by Odile Decq for LucePlan, 2011.
LucePlan Lighing was founded in 1978 by Paolo Rizzato, Riccardo Sarfatti and Sandra Severi, who had been together at the Politecnico University in Milan. Over the years LucePlan has created a collection of indoor and outdoor lights, that are not only functional but derived in a design evolution process rather then styling.
