The Anima Table Lamp by Lumina, designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, redefines contemporary elegance through its innovative reinterpretation of the classic table lamp with a modern twist.
Anima is composed of different materials and processes that enhance its uniqueness.
The main body in turned aluminum is housing a LED engine with dedicated optics. Opaline glass, diffuses and reflects soft and comfortable light. The outer frame is composed by 4 elements made in photo-etched stainless steel. Brushed stainless-steel stem shows and houses the colored fabric power cable. The base is in transparent glass, framed by a colored metal ring. No detail of Anima has been left to chance: the dedicated dimmer, in turned aluminum, is matching the metal finish of the lamp.
The final result is a unique product that combines the design of a great architect with the quality and research of details of Lumina.
Lumina started with a design idea from Tommaso Cimini, who in 1973 designed the first Daphine table lamp which was presented in the same year at the Fiera Campionaria in Milan. Based on the success and responds for the fixture, Lumina was later founded in 1975. Today, Lumina continues to produce lighting defined by precision craftsmanship and a “less is more” philosophy, focusing on essential forms and high performance. The collection includes a range of enduring designs such as Daphine, Matrix, Galileo, Liz, Lizzy, Multi, Naomi, Zed, Opus, Tangram, and Zelig — each reflecting the brand’s commitment to minimalist design and technical excellence.
